Many professional string players own, praise, and play instruments from this workshop including Eliot Chapo, Professor of Violin at Flordia State University who is the former Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic and the Dallas Symphony and Chuanyun Li, a well known soloist. Crafted of Chinese maple and European spruce, tastefully antiqued light gold-brow to gold-amber hand applied varnish. Medium-dark tone color with a strong, clear voice with good projection. Fitted with ebony Parisian eye pegs and end button, ebony tailpiece, Despiau “C” level French bridge, and Guarneri model ebony chinrest. Adjusted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi or Obligato strings.
